Location: Pune / Hyderabad.
We are looking for a skilled business analyst with a technical focus on cybersecurity to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of security concepts like firewalls, two-factor authentication, risk assessments, and threat reporting. The ideal candidate will work closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders to identify vulnerabilities, mitigate risks, and ensure secure systems and processes that align with business objectives.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role with a focus on cybersecurity, security systems, or IT risk management.
- Hands-on experience working with firewall configurations, security tools, and two-factor authentication systems.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of firewall technologies (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Check Point).
- Experience with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and risk management practices.
- Familiarity with threat detection tools and SIEM systems (e.g., Splunk, ArcSight).
- Knowledge of two-factor authentication protocols and tools (e.g., Duo Security, Okta).
Problem-Solving:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify security vulnerabilities and recommend practical, technical solutions.
- Ability to assess risks and communicate those risks to both technical and business stakeholders.
Communication:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable business language.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CompTIA Security+, or similar are highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with advanced threat detection technologies and vulnerability scanning tools.
- Experience working in a regulated environment, understanding data privacy laws, and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with enterprise security architectures and strategies.
