About the RoleYou will create scripts using Appium, and Selenium using Python/java. You will become Appium Pro certified and work with top-tier customers. You must enjoy testing mobile UIs and automating them in both Android and iOS.

What You'll Do

Write automation code for mobile applicationsCapture data and complete analysis on mobile applicationsCreate dashboards with the data captured and provide it to the customerAssist customer with automation where applicableUnderstanding of iOS and Android applications and UI structure and building tooling to automate interactionsDeep knowledge of Appium and Appium Desktop internalsA working understanding of mobile frameworks like Espresso and XCTestDeveloping/evolving production-grade web services and agents written in Python and TornadoBeing a member of a highly motivated team pushing all the boundaries in the mobile testing spaceMaintain automation test framework to ensure continuous quality of productsMaintain existing testing codebasesCollaborate with software engineers and testers to develop rigorous test casesIdentify, record, document thoroughly and track bugsEnsure the quality of all code and products produced by the companyHelp customers get the best value out of HeadspinPerforms other duties as required‍What You Need

BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a similar field0-2 years of hands-on experience in software development or SQASelf-motivated, creative, focused, results-oriented, problem solverIn-depth knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, Java)Strong skill set with MySQL or other databases. Ability to read & write SQL queriesGood with Linux/Unix environmentStrong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processesGeneral knowledge of Appium (mobile automation tool) or Selenium (web automation tool)Proficiency with automation testing toolsStrong verbal and written communication abilitiesAndroid and or iOS developmentAgile/Scrum ExperienceStrong troubleshooting skillsAbility to collaborate with engineers and content creators
