JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Copywriter will be responsible for developing and delivering creative content that will engage our audience and resonate with our clients. This individual will have a strong understanding of both mainline and digital advertising, with a portfolio showcasing this broad expertise. The ideal candidate will be a highly creative, flexible, and motivated individual who can both take initiative and work well within a team.
We're seeking talented copywriters with a strong ability to generate creative yet practical ideas and craft them into compelling copy
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create engaging and innovative copy for a variety of media including social, online, print, radio, and television.
Work closely with the art department and creative director to develop cohesive and impactful advertising campaigns.
Collaborate with strategic planners and account executives to understand client objectives and strategy, and translate them into creative concepts.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and creative brief developments.
Proofread and edit copy to ensure high-quality standards are met before client delivery.
Stay up-to-date with cultural/social trends and customers' views and attitudes to create relevant advertising.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
A deep understanding of advertising principles, strategies, and techniques.
Comprehensive knowledge of mainline and digital advertising practices.
Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and grammatically correct copy.
Understands SEO and its impact on copywriting for digital platforms.
Ability to think creatively and translate ideas into compelling copy.
Excellent teamwork, communication, and presentation skills.
Familiarity with commonly used style guides.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
