Role & responsibilities
i) Identifying & Developing New Vendors and issuing Purchase orders .
ii) Assuring delivered goods are of acceptable qualityand within tolerances of drawings for the parts made.
iii) Developing new vendors for parts where currentvendor is not able to give quality required, deliver on time or is not priortising our orders as required.
iv) Develop & maintain relations with vendors in order to achieve delivery of goods as per quality required.
v) Bench Marking costs & identifying Supply chain points how costings can be reduced as a dynamic exercise .
vi) Making sure that all raw material & spare are available for production & after sales service
vii) Reducing Inventory Costs by negotiating & assuring delivery periods in regular intervals instead of one large delivery , reducing MOQ
vii) Visiting Vendors as per frequency required depending on procurement value
Preferred candidate profile
A 40-50 years old Brilliant Engg. Graduate with 10-20 years working in SCM as a manager ,managing minimum 100 vendors , 2000 items procurement ,Proven track record of reducing costs & streamlining procurement and vendor development processes Stays in Vasai-Virar area
Experience of procurement of Engineering company , we make Magnetic drilling machines .
Working : Mon to Saturday , 9.30am to 6pm . (If urgent work then has to work longer)
