Role Overview:

The MIS Executive will be responsible for managing data collection, processing, analysis, and reporting to support decision-making across departments. The role requires strong skills in Excel, MIS tools, and reporting accuracy to ensure operational efficiency and provide timely insights to management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, maintain, and update data from various departments and stakeholders.
• Prepare, analyze, and share daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports as per management requirements.
• Develop dashboards, trackers, and performance monitoring tools to ensure visibility on key metrics.
• Perform data validation, cleaning, and reconciliation to maintain accuracy and reliability.
• Automate recurring reports using advanced Excel functions, pivot tables, lookups, and formulas.
• Support decision-making by generating ad-hoc analysis and customized reports.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to streamline data flow and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure data security in line with University policies.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Graduate in Commerce, Statistics, Computer Applications, IT, or a related field (Postgraduate preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in MIS, reporting, or data analysis (education/skills sector experience preferred).
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, IF statements, Conditional Formatting, etc.).
• Knowledge of database management, Google Sheets, and reporting tools (Power BI/Tableau – desirable).
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with multiple stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
