As a System Engineer, you will:
  • Support services running on Microsoft Windows Server platforms in an enterprise environment.
  • Utilize ITIL and industry best practices for IT Infrastructure security.
  • Manage and troubleshoot enterprise backup solutions.
  • Handle the installation, configuration, customization, upgrading, and management of Microsoft Windows Server platforms in a secure environment.
  • Work extensively with Active Directory and Azure AD.
  • Use VMWare technology for server virtualization.
  • Automate administrative tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Azure PowerShell, and other utilities.
  • Provide third-level support to the Service Desk, addressing work requests and incident reports by understanding customers’ requirements and resolving their issues.
  • Write detailed technical documentation.
  • Maintain up-to-date certifications in services or products running on Microsoft Windows Server, VMWare, MS365, and MS Azure.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • A minimum of 6 years of continuous professional and practical experience supporting services on Microsoft Windows Server platforms in an enterprise environment.
  • Solid technical knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Azure AD.
  • Expertise in server virtualization with VMWare technology.
  • Strong experience with enterprise backup solutions.
  • Proficiency in automating administrative tasks using scripting languages available on the OS platforms (PowerShell, Azure PowerShell, automation scripts, etc.).
  • Ability to provide third-level support to the Service Desk, effectively addressing customer requirements and resolving issues.
  • Proven ability to write comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Experience with HP Nimble SAN storage.
  • Experience with VMWare Horizon VDI.
You should possess the ability to:
  • Apply ITIL and industry best practices for IT Infrastructure security.
  • Install, configure, customize, upgrade, troubleshoot, and manage Microsoft Windows Server platforms in a secure environment.
  • Utilize VMWare technology for server virtualization.
  • Automate administrative tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell and Azure PowerShell.
  • Provide effective third-level support to the Service Desk, understanding and resolving customer requirements.
  • Write detailed and clear technical documentation.
