KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Consultation and Analysis

  • Gather and analyze business requirements from clients to understand their sales and distribution processes.
  • Design and configure the SAP SD module to meet client-specific requirements.
  • Conduct workshops and provide expert guidance on SD functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM and FI/CO) to ensure integration of SD with other SAP modules.

Implementation & Configuration

  • Configure SAP SD modules including Sales Order Management, Pricing, Billing, Shipping, and Credit Management.
  • Set up Master Data elements like Customer Master, Material Master, and Pricing Conditions.
  • Conduct end-to-end configuration of the order-to-cash (O2C) process flow.
  • Implement SAP best practices and assist in system upgrades and migrations.

Testing & Support

  • Create test cases, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and assist clients in the validation of the system.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to SD transactions and provide timely resolutions.
  • Offer post-implementation support and provide system maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

Training and Documentation

  • Develop user manuals, system documentation, and training materials for end-users.
  • Conduct training sessions for client end-users to ensure smooth adoption of SAP SD solutions.

Project Management

  • Support the project manager in delivering SAP SD projects on time and within budget.
  • Assist in change management and stakeholder management efforts throughout the project lifecycle.

Others

  • Train the end users on new enhancements or functionality as required.
  • Assist IT Manager-Applications in Make or Buy decisions while evaluating solutions;
  • Adopt ISO policies and procedures.

Co-ordination with Vendors

  • Co-ordinate with SAP and AMS partner for timely resolution of system issues

Minimum Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in any business field, B.E computer science preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD configuration and implementation.
  • Experience in full lifecycle SAP SD implementation project.
  • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
  • Should be aware of PMI project management methodology.
  • Strong English communication (written and spoken) skills.
  • Abilities to work with others at all levels.
  • Self-motivated and pro-active.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Proficiency in SAP SD module configuration and customization.
  • Experience with SAP integration with other modules (MM, FI/CO, PP).
  • Strong understanding of O2C business processes, including order processing, pricing, and billing.
  • Ability to write functional specifications and provide technical solutions.
  • Familiarity with ABAP debugging and customizing reports is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori and SAP S/4HANA functionality.
  • Experience User Acceptance Testing and playing critical role in helping business owners to test the system in UAT phase.

Certification

  • Certification in SAP SD module (SAP Certified Application Associate - Sales and Distribution).
