About the Job Role:-

  • Security Researcher
  • Lead Security Researcher with 5 to 20 Years of experience.

Location: HCL Technologies, Jigani, Bangalore

The Application Security group is proud to lead the HCL Security portfolio. The group has been leading the Application Security Testing market for the last 15 years with the AppScan suite of products, covering Cloud-based services, Enterprise solutions, Desktop applications & Development integrations. In addition, the team has been the market leader of Application and Mobile Security Research.

We want to invite the best talents in development, research, and operations to join us in AppScan Bangalore Development Center.

We collaborate and work closely with AppScan Research Lab in Israel. Our research gets published under , and regularly appears in academic/industry conferences, such as USENIX WOOT, AppSec, NullCon, BlackHat and RSA Conference.

You can join us if you are an experienced security researcher, and you would love to:

Actively lead the industry in:

  • Discover new vulnerabilities in Web Applications, Mobile, IOT devices or other fields.
  • Publish research results on aleph security blog.
  • Present the research at top industrial and academic conferences (BlackHat, NullCon, USENIX, AppSec, RSA Conference ...)
  • Follow the always evolving security threat landscape and develop procedures for automatic detection of vulnerabilities.
  • Build and improve the security logic of the AppScan products.

Desired Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in security research
  • Advantage: Research publications
  • Advantage: Reverse engineering
  • Advantage: Development experience
  • Advantage: Academic degree in Computer Science

· Advantage: Well-known certifications (e.g. OSWP, OSCP, OSCE, GPEN, CCNA, CEH...)

  • Advantage: Experience with source-level analysis
  • Advantage: Development experience

Other skills: -

  • Networking, Telecommunications technologies, and protocols (TCP/IP, SIP, VoIP).
  • Good reporting and presentation skills.
  • Good written and verbal communications skills.
  • Experience working with geographically distributed cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
