Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations : Oversee all financial activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions, ensuring accuracy and reliability in every transaction.
Financial Reporting : Prepare and present accurate, timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports to inform strategic decision-making.
Budgeting & Forecasting : Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts in partnership with department heads, making adjustments as needed to align with evolving company goals.
Financial Analysis : Conduct ongoing analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
Compliance : Ensure adherence to GAAP standards, tax regulations, and other financial reporting requirements, safeguarding the company's financial integrity.
Month-End & Year-End Closings : Manage closing processes, reconciliations, and journal entries to maintain up-to-date financial records.
Audit Coordination : Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, overseeing audit processes to ensure transparency and accuracy.
Internal Controls : Implement and maintain robust internal controls to protect company assets and ensure data integrity.
Strategic Financial Guidance : Provide financial insights and risk assessments to support key decisions and long-term planning.
Growth Metrics : Track and analyze key financial metrics that support revenue generation and business expansion goals.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management:
· Review the company’s cash flow and establish an early warning system of controls that identify when/if cash levels are nearing, or fall below, predetermined minimum thresholds.
· Establish relationship with serves as a key point of contact with the company’s external financial institutions, on both the retail and lending sides.
Qualifications:
CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in fiscal management
Proven experience with financial systems administration and optimization.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, and financial regulations.
Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software tools.
