About the department: Our Business Tax team is geared to help clients effectively handle their business tax compliance and advisory needs. With our rich experience in the history and progress of Indian tax law and administration, we help clients build stable and sustainable tax strategies that combine technical, practical, and commercial aspects. The department provides services like - Preparation and review of Individual and Corporate Tax Returns, Revenue Audits and Litigation, Tax Health Checks, Withholding Tax Compliance, Tax Advisory Services, Certification Services, Departmental Interactions, and Other Direct Tax Compliances. Role Description Manage Nexdigm‘s end to end deliverable needs from junior to mid-management level Key Result Areas: Operational Compliance & Advisory Preparation and filing of income tax returns for corporate clients both Indian as well as foreign Preparation of monthly TDS working and quarterly TDS returns, quarterly advance tax working, SFT return, etc Assistance in handling of dividend assignment Providing preliminary advisory on withholding tax implications and applicable tax rates on various foreign remittances (Form 15CB issuance) Assistance in providing international tax advisory on matters like POEM (Place of Effective Management), PE (Permanent Establishment) risk exposure, etc. Assistance in corporate tax litigation including filing of appeals, preparation of detailed submissions, research on legal issues up to the Tribunal level, etc. Handling departmental interactions including Filing rectification and refund applications, Order-giving effects, Stay applications, etc. Assisting partner in achieving their revenue target Team Management Attending internal as well as external trainings and seminars Training and grooming of junior team members for effective ground-level execution Conducting case law trainings at internal training sessions Business Development & Client Relationship Management Participating in meetings with key clients Building client relationship and becoming single point of contact for the client Practice Management Ensuring timely billing of the clients on monthly basis Ensuring collections and follow-ups with clients for outstanding dues Required Competencies, Skills, and Experience Qualified Chartered Accountant with 0-2 yrs direct tax experience. Good writing and oral communication skills Working experience in the tax domain during articleship (Mandatory for CA freshers)
