In your role as a Sustainability & Climate Risk Model Validation Quantitative Analyst, you'll:
• assess the model's conceptual soundness and methodology
• check appropriateness of input data, the model assumptions and parameters, the accuracy of the model calibration, as well as of qualitative or expert adjustments
• review oue, impact, and develop benchmark approaches
• assess model risk, perform model robustness analysis, and identify and evaluate model limitations
• document the assessment to required standards
• interact and discuss with stakeholders (model developers as well as senior model owner and modelernance bodies)
Your team
You will be working in the Sustainability & Climate Risk team of Model Risk Management & Controls (MRMC). Our role is to understand and assess the risks associated with the use of Climate models, and responsible for the independent review and challenge of these models. We carry out independent model assessments in line with the internalernance of models policy and regulatory requirements. The model universe covers ESG and Climate Risk models including transition & financial models, nature hazard models, physical risk models, climate scenario models, emission pathway models, ESG scorecards, climate risk models for credit risk and financial stress testing.

Your expertise
• an advanced degree in a quantitative field (, econometrics, financial economics, financial mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, mathematics)
• strong quantitative modelling skills and the ability to apply quantitative techniques to solve practical problems
• very goodmunication skills and the ability to explain technical topics clearly and intuitively, both written and orally
• co-operative and team-orientated, while being able to motivate and organize yourself andplete tasks independently to high quality standards
• enthusiasm for proactively seeking, exploring and developing use cases for new data and/or tools, and wider ESG & SCR industry trends
• experience utilizing programming languages such as R or Python
• (on the way to) hold an ESG/ SCR industry related certification is a plus
• fluent in English, oral and written
