Job Description ● Surgical Procedures: ○ Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG): Restoring blood flow to the heart. ○ Aortic Aneurysm Repair: Repairing or replacing an aortic aneurysm using a graft. ○ Valve Replacement Surgery: Replacing malfunctioning heart valves with prosthetic ones. ○ Heart Transplant: Replacing a diseased heart with a donor’s heart. ○ Lung Lobectomy: Removing a lobe of the lung, often for cancer. ○ Carotid Endarterectomy: Removing plaque from the carotid artery to prevent stroke. ○ Pulmonary Thromboendarterectomy: Removing blood clots from lungs for chronic embolism. ● Daily Routine: ○ Preoperative evaluations and discussions with patients and families. ○ Postoperative care in intensive care units (ICUs). ○ Participating in multidisciplinary meetings for complex cases.
