Leadership: Leads a team of warehouse staff, including supervisors, pickers, packers, and forklift operators, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities. Operations Management: Plans and coordinates warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods, to ensure efficiency and meet customer demands. Inventory Control: Manages inventory levels, conducts regular stock checks, and implements systems to track inventory accurately, minimizing discrepancies and losses. Safety Compliance: Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations, implements safety procedures, and provides training to warehouse staff to maintain a safe working environment. Process Improvement: Identifies opportunities for process improvement and implements changes to streamline warehouse operations, increase productivity, and reduce costs. Communication: Liaises with other departments, such as procurement, sales, and customer service, to coordinate activities and resolve any issues related to warehouse operations. Vendor Relations: Builds and maintains relationships with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of goods and negotiate favorable terms. Problem Solving: Addresses any issues or concerns that arise in the warehouse, such as damaged goods, equipment malfunctions, or staffing shortages, to minimize disruption to operations. Technology Proficiency: Utilizes warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanners, and other technology tools to optimize warehouse processes and maintain accurate records. Experience:  Typically requires 6 to 8 years of experience in warehouse operations, with progressively increasing levels of responsibility. Graduate/Postgraduate from reputed university Leadership:  Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team and foster a positive work environment. Organizational Skills:  Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Problem-Solving:  Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions. Attention to Detail:  Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management and adherence to safety protocols. Communication:  Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey instructions, provide feedback, and interact with colleagues and external partners.
