Scope:

  • Core responsibilities include architecting, designing, implementation, training (along with counterparts and distinguished Architects) of ground up cloud native (we use Azure) SaaS product in demand & supply planning for Manufacturing & Retail Industry segment.
  • NPI Incubation & Lighthouse team is part of end-to-end solution engineering team within Product Development/Consulting services organization of BY responsible for PoC, Implementation, Training & Support for NPI solutions. The team is currently comprised global associates across US, India (COE) and Germany and is expected to grow rapidly. The incumbent will need to have leadership qualities to also mentor junior and mid-level software associates in our team.

What you’ll do:

  • Conducts/leads business process analysis or design/construction phase of the project that leads to writing functional specifications.
  • Design and build new products PoC and demo along with presales and solution demo team.
  • Create templates and artifacts towards reusability and automation decreasing implementation lifecycle, reducing errors post go-live and efficient support operations.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for user, management, and executive level audiences. Assists Project Managers in planning efforts.
  • Communicates and/or supports the business cases to PMG and PD regarding specific trends for future product functionality and enhancements.
  • Creates and modifies procedural and system documentation throughout the project. Creates detailed tasks on overall project plan (i.e. during sales cycle, after the project plan is complete, or based on enhancements).
  • Develops and executes test scripts to ensure BY software consistently meets the customer's business objectives.
  • Develops functional specifications for modifications, interfaces, reports and screens that meet the customers' business objectives and are of sound design.
  • Ensures knowledge transfer is conducted with key customer project team. Is a thought leader in their Product Solution area of focus and is able to apply that knowledge to customer situations.
  • Provides advice to customers regarding industry best practices and process methodology. Provides non-technical support during the "go-live" period and knowledge transition during project roll-off.
  • Provides primary user support and verifies that the system provides the required business functions and maintains data integrity.
  • Recognizes and highlights incremental revenue opportunities with existing customers / projects. Serves as a functional liaison and attends and contributes to key meetings between Project Manager, key customer contacts, and customer users, up to and including key executive project sponsors. Understands how the BY solutions within area of focus can be configured and delivered to better facilitate customer business processes (ensuring ability to design, execute, and deliver).
  • Prepare and conduct an internal and external solution training and support larger team enablement.
  • Provides guidance to support services in responding to base technical issues.
  • Perform new product solution validation and end to end data flow, solution, interface, workflow & reports and performance testing. Raise Jira & case tickets & provide feedback to PD/PMG on defects & enhancements.
  • Ready to travel to customer sites based on business needs, and flexible to work with overlapping time zones.

What we are looking for:

  • 4 - 18 years of hands-on experience, as an architect or business consultant providing supply chain solutions for customers required. Either a customer of BY/JDA/or other similar solution or as a consultant implementing BY/JDA/or other similar solution for customers preferred
  • Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics or Operations Research preferred. A combination of Bachelor ’s degree and relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of advanced degree.
  • Relevant solutions consulting and implementation experience with other leading supply chain planning solutions such as O9, Kinaxis, Oracle, SAP, or leading ERP may be considered.
  • Understands how BY/JDA solutions (Demand, SCP/ESP, Fulfill, S&OP, IO) can be configured to better facilitate client business processes.
  • Has working experience of AI/ ML algorithms. Working experience of R, python packages
  • Understands Time series forecasting.
  • Understanding of data base, snowflake, azure, saas technical platform, devops operations
  • Strong business analysis skills, understanding and usage of statistical & machine learning algorithms, SCM concepts, awareness of tactical planning on overall supply chain required.
  • Relevant industry certification from APICS will be a plus.
  • Demonstrable experience with Blue Yonder Planning Solution or similar supply chain / ERP solution.
  • Ability to drive discussions on both functional processes and technical concepts in a language that can be understood across a diverse audience and multiple levels within customer's/BY organization.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with customers, partners, PD. PMG and consultants. Works with appropriate parties to ensure issues are resolved.
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, effectively and proactively.
