Role & responsibilities

Manage and delivering the Project including conceptual, basic engineering, detailed design, engineering, procurement and execution on-time, within scope and within budget

• Overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific project ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.
• Defining projects scope, finalizing deliverables and timelines, planning on business readiness and communication strategy, and identifying suitable vendors/contractors for respective engineering discipline
• Formulating project parameters and assigning responsibilities to the most capable employees and monitoring the project team.
• Identify engineering problems and ensure solutions are implemented
• Coordinate with internal departments like Mechanical, Electrical, boiler and utility for ongoing project designing, execution and work progress.
• Coordinate with purchase department for technical specification approval, dispatch schedule, quality related issue for al project related purchases.
• Arranging visit at vendor site for inspection of Equipment.
• Coordinate with Civil dept. for layout and execution, support to building designing team with review the work progress.
• Coordinate with R&D dept. for New project Developing specifications for the project's needed equipment type, material of construction, capacities, operating and design parameters, chemicals properties.
• Coordinate with safety department & actively participate in HAZOP, Fire hydrant system design, root cause analysis of safety incidents.
• Coordinate with vendor for technical issues, drawing approvals, required changes and dispatch scheduling.
• Managing projects through all phases of the project life cycle, i.e., requirements, alternative analysis, engineering, design, fabrication, testing, and implementation planning with the help of the team reporting into you.
• Planning for receipt of machinery and equipment to deliver.
• Delivering commissioned plant which is ready for operations and obtaining formal acceptance of final deliverables
• Selecting, training, and developing plant supervisory, technical, and administrative staff. Conducting employee performance reviews and fostering a well-trained and motivated staff
• Review all major technical challenges faced in the project with the Management team and make suggestions accordingly.
