Job Purpose
The Admin Manager will oversee and manage the day-to-day administrative operations of Nalam Hospital, ensuring smooth functioning of all non-clinical departments. The role requires leadership, coordination, and execution of administrative strategies to support patient care, staff efficiency, and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Hospital Administration
- Supervise daily non-clinical operations including reception, billing, housekeeping, security, maintenance, and front office.
- Ensure smooth patient flow and quick resolution of patient/attendant grievances.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
- Staff Management
- Supervise, train, and evaluate administrative and support staff.
- Prepare staff duty rosters, leave schedules, and ensure manpower adequacy.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and encourage team performance.
- Operations & Coordination
- Liaise with clinical departments (Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacy, Lab, Radiology) for operational support.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for hospital requirements.
- Monitor housekeeping, biomedical waste management, and facility hygiene.
- Financial & Resource Management
- Assist in budgeting, procurement, and cost control for hospital resources.
- Monitor revenue leakages and ensure efficient billing and collection process.
- Optimize usage of hospital assets and consumables.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with NABH, fire safety, biomedical waste, and statutory regulations.
- Support hospital quality audits and accreditation processes.
- Implement safety protocols for staff, patients, and visitors.
- Patient Experience
- Ensure patient-friendly administrative services.
- Address patient complaints promptly and effectively.
- Maintain service excellence standards across all touchpoints.

- Proficiency in MS Office and hospital management software
Qualification
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Hospital Administration, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in hospital administration/healthcare operations
