Job Title:SQL Developer

About the Company:Insight Global

Location:Remote

Pay range and compensation package:Total compensation ranges from 10lahks - 14 lakhs per annum, based on experience.

Duration:This is a contract position. Only apply if you are comfortable with contract work. The position is approved for full-time work up to a year and is likely to extend.

Notice Period:Only accepting candidates with a notice period of 30 days or less, or those who can start immediately.

5+ years

Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Developer with over 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in PostgreSQL, though we are open to interviewing candidates with similar skills in other databases.

Key Responsibilities:Write efficient and optimized SQL queries.Perform performance tuning of SQL queries to ensure optimal database performance.Develop and maintain stored procedures and functions.Collaborate with Java API developers to streamline and simplify database calls.

Preferred Skills:Proficiency in PostgreSQL (or similar databases).Strong expertise in writing SQL.Experience in performance tuning SQL queries.Skilled in writing stored procedures and functions.Ability to work effectively with Java API developers.

Optional Skills:Experience with Databricks is a plus.

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience as an SQL Developer or similar role.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
