Role Overview:

The Assistant Manager – Finance will be responsible for managing financial reporting, statutory compliance, taxation and audit coordination while overseeing day-to-day fiscal operations. The role requires providing analytical insights to support management decision-making and ensuring robust financial controls. Prior experience in the manufacturing/engineering/projects products industry (railway sector preferred) is essential.

Desired Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's/master's degree in finance/accounting/commerce.
  • 4–7 years of relevant experience in finance & accounts
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation and compliance
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally/SAP/ERP and financial reporting tools
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Must have experience in the manufacturing industry (engineering products); experience in the railway industry is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, MIS.
  • Overseeing day-to-day fiscal compliance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies.
  • Coordinate with auditors and handle taxation-related matters.
  • Monitor accounts payable, receivable and general ledger activities.
  • Provide analytical support to management for decision-making.
