Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
  • Assess customers' needs and provide assistance and information on product features.
  • Follow and achieve department's sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
  • "Go the extra mile" to drive sales.
  • Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas
  • Suggest ways to improve sales (e.g. planning marketing activities, changing the store's design)
  • Maintains the stability and reputation of the store.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Also, should have good knowledge of Furnishing and Furniture.
  • Superior product knowledge.
  • Achieving established targets.
  • Attracts customers by originating display ideas; following display suggestions or schedules; constructing or assembling prefabricated display properties; producing merchandise displays in windows and showcases, and on the sales floor.
  • Helps customers by providing information; answering questions; obtaining merchandise requested; completing payment transactions; preparing merchandise for delivery.
  • Prepares sales and customer relations reports by analyzing and categorizing sales information; identifying and investigating customer complaints and service suggestions.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Associate, Sales Representative or similar role.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus.
