R&D Formulation Chemist The role: This is a great opportunity for an experienced R&D Formulation Chemist to join a leading Australian owned FMCG business within the Pharmaceutical/Personal Care sector Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Responsibility for product development of cutting edge products and refining existing products Ensure that developed methodologies are executed precisely in accordance with the manufacturing documentation Leading and supporting formulating employees Formulating and delivering new products to the market through planning and implementing development projects from concept through to full scale production Manufacture of laboratory scale batches for the purpose of formulation and development, customer samples and all testing Sourcing of raw materials both internally and externally for use in the formulation and development of new products and identifying alternate equivalent sources of supply when required The successful candidate will have: Tertiary qualifications in Science (Chemistry) or similar Proven experience in a similar role, pharmaceutical industry preferred Strong Product Development and Innovation experience GLP, GMP and TGA experience Strong communication skills, proactive thinking, high motivation and leadership capability Ability to work well autonomously and in a team environment Apply now IMPORTANT: It is a requirement of all our jobs that you have a PR or AU/NZ Citizenship.
