About the Opportunity

The Ellucian Professional Services team is looking for an energetic, dynamic, and collaborative Senior Consultant to assist customers in building integration infrastructure that supports our SaaS and Data Integration strategy. This impactful and high-visibility role demands someone who can forge strong relationships and develop strategies for Ethos Integration, the central nervous system of the modern, connected higher education campus.

As a  Senior Consultant , you will lead integration development projects that support core functionalities essential for running higher education businesses. You will analyze business requirements to ensure integrations are effectively incorporated into the modern technology ecosystem. Your role will involve ensuring that delivered technology solutions align with enterprise strategies and adhere to target reference architectures by applying sound architectural principles and best practices, as well as following the client’s IT governance processes and guidelines. This role is pivotal in developing our next-generation services and capabilities for cloud maturation. You will contribute to our key technology strategy, focusing on service architecture that integrates various products and solutions across the enterprise. This is a high-impact, high-visibility opportunity to leverage your expertise and make a significant difference.

Where will you make an impact  

Work with Onshore team lead to receive project details and translate them to the local team for Tech. design, development, and QA activities. Be able to identify appropriate technologies for the solution given the constraints of the client or architecture. Work with a dynamic team of developers and other peers to build and test the application according to the prepared specifications Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for integrations Demonstrated aptitude for logical application of problem solving techniques. Ability to deconstruct complex technical issues to identify root cause issues Stay current with Ellucian applications Have an aptitude to learn; learn new technologies quickly

What you will bring  

A minimum of 8 years of experience working strong technology company. Exhibits a strong sense of ownership for individual work assignments Strong communication and analytical skills with demonstrable presentation and professional communication skills (written and verbal). Experience working independently with little direction and still achieve goals as well as working remotely in a team environment via phone and other electronic communication tools. Brings an established, effective method for tracking and completing tasks on time. Prefers a collaborative work environment over working solo, with a bias towards sharing credit for achievement over individual recognition. Possesses programming experience with JavaScript ,  React, Node JS , Oracle SQL and Restful Web Services. 

Desired Skills/Knowledge/Experience

Tomcat, Linux, AWS Java technology stack (Groovy/Grails, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS) Version Control expertise with GIT Experience with Oracle Database 11g/12c integration with middleware and web components.
