The ideal candidate is responsible for the coordination and execution of account reconciliations, budget compilation, and backup to the accounts payable function.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing process for complex legal entities, including quality reviews.- Prepare statutory reporting.- Prepare corporate income tax calculations and entries.- Manage the group, statutory, and tax audits of the entities in scope, including liaising with external auditors.- Liaise with the other finance departments, namely Business Finance, Credit Control, corporate accounting, and Tax compliance teams.- Act as contact person with local service providers and resolve issues as required.- Acts as subject matter expert.- Any other ad hoc tasks Functional Skills and capabilities:- Fluent in English both written and spoken.- Has a "can-do" attitude, pro-active, flexible mind-set- High level of accounting knowledge- Working knowledge of key systems (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Tally, QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.) is essential.- Can work in a dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.- Good interpersonal and communication skills- Possess analytical and problem-solving skills.- Able to make sound and independent judgments. Qualifications

- CPA or CA degree- 5+ years of relevant accounting or auditing experience in a multinational company • Process automation experience and thinking preferable. US or Foreign Direct Tax Compliance or Tax Provision (Any other tax-related experience can be reviewed)- Advanced Excel skills - Able to create Excel models/automation (querying, generating and understanding complex formulas, debugging)- Visualization ( Tableau, Power BI)- Optional: Excel VBA (macro), Python, SQL Skills- Should have major experience in direct taxation with good in Excel, VBA/Python is good to have Dashboarding skills like Tableau/Power BI is highly preferred- Excellent in communication as they will be working with the US team- 60% taxation and 40% technology experience Shift - 1 pm-11 pm - cab will be there

- Excellent interpersonal skills with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)- Ability to self-manage and display good planning and organization abilities- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail- Deadline-driven individuals who contribute to the success of the team- Ability to cope with stressful situations- Ability to deal with different individuals at all levels in the organization- Takes own initiative and has a solutions-orientated approach- Maintains a high standard of accuracy and quality- Proactive approach with the ability to think ahead in a fast-paced environment- Ability to work independently and be a knowledge expert- Strong analytical skills, and an ability to understand underlying business drivers and provide actionable insights based on your analysis.- Sound and proven working knowledge of accounting practices and principles- Knowledge and prior exposure to international entities, foreign currency, and inter-company transactions- Extensive knowledge of tax legislative requirements locally, and in international jurisdictions- Academic Qualifications and Certifications:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting or related Required Experience:- Advanced demonstrated experience gained in a similar position- Advanced demonstrated experience gained within the Finance function of a similar information technology environment Skills in Summary Accounting Reconciliation, Accounting Software, Financial Auditing, Financial Controlling, Financial Procedures, Financial Processes, and accountability for financial forecasting processes.- Reconciles accounts, resolving discrepancies, and collaborate across various finance and non-finance functions.- Responsible for analyzing journals, producing data analysis and reports and assists with variance analysis.- Responsible for the assembly of the annual audit information for external auditors.- As a partner in the accounting process, recommends how to improve efficiency using automation. Analyses past performance financial data and prepares budgets and forecasts for business unit management.- Implements effective financial controls, including systems reconciliations and ensuring the integrity of reported figures.- Plans month-end activities which include the preparation and processing of month-end journal entries and executing a variety of actions in the accounting system Knowledge,
