GCP Google Infra Architect

Location: Hyderabad ,Chennai, Gurgaon

Experience : 8 to 15 Years

Skills:


  • GCP,VPC, Subnet, GKE, Anthos , MIG, Composer, LB, Firewall, Storage (Persistent disk, GCS, Fuse), Terraform for Infrastructure as Code would be a preferred skill



Role Responsibilities:

The role will have the following responsibilities:


  • Cloud Infra setup – Project, Subnet, GKE, MIG and Firewall rules creation as per the defined process,
  • should be working with DB Cirrus team for VPC, Subnet, GKE, Anthos , MIG, Composer, LB, Firewall, Storage(Persistent disk, GCS, Fuse) :
  • must be an expert in GCP services,
  • Procurement of Landing zones as per the data residency rules,
  • Current IT Landscape Assessment
  • Designing of Hybrid Cloud Connectivity
  • Target State Project Structures and Designs
  • Migration Roadmap, including Intermediate State Architectures
  • Cloud Foundational Services, including setting up of Guardrails
  • Cloud Security, including Zero-Trust, Separation of Environments and Micro-segmentation
  • Cloud Management, Monitoring and Audit


The candidate is required to create good presentations of solutions, architecture and key design considerations as part of solutioning.


Skills Required:

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

  • Ability to understand and appreciate underlying business processes and ability to work with business stakeholders, in order to be able to create holistic solutions
  • Hands-on experience with Implementing Cloud Architectures, Performing Cloud Migration Assessments, Creating Cloud Adoption Plans, and, Designing Cloud-Native Applications, with strong focus on hybrid cloud model
  • Designing the re-engineering of applications, data models and dependency maps to migrate to the Cloud
  • Strong Understanding of various Design Patterns and their implementation
  • Ability to create strong designs that embed Operational Excellence, Security, Reliability, Performance Efficiency and Cost Optimization
  • Capable of providing multiple solution options for a given problem, along with the Pros and Cons, and being confident when explaining why a particular choice would be the preferred one for a given context, backed by research
  • A good understanding of Containerization, Microservices
  • The candidate needs to be a self-starter, and capable of delivering strong results with minimal supervision
  • He or she needs to have good communication skills, having hands-on experience in preparing good presentations for senior management of customer organizations
