Senior Data Scientist Job description As a Data Scientist you'll be part of a team that is working on cutting edge machine learning models. You will work side by side with Analysts and Machine Learning Engineers and take full ownership of your work - from the initial idea-generation phase to the implementation of the final product. Our ideal candidate is result-focused, innovative, has a solid quantitative background and a good business understanding coming from a consumer-oriented, product focused environment. This role would be a fully remote role, based in India. About the role: * Working in a multi-disciplined team where you'll take full ownership of turning discoveries and ideas into machine learning models. * Research, design and deploy scalable ML models using large scale and unique set of data (both structured and unstructured data). * Researching & Development on how to improve our models, by using our large scale unique datasets. * Actively contribute to taking Data Science of the team to the next level. About you: * Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, ideally coming from a consumer oriented, product focused environment * Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or any other relevant similar discipline * Capable to build robust end-to-end models using the latest Machine Learning techniques and methodologies * Proficiency in Python and its libraries (Pandas, Numpy) * Strong hands-on experience with SQL, GCP Bigquery * Bonus points (optional) for experience in building end-to-end Deep Learning and/or NLP models as well as Argyll Scott Asia is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
