We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vertica developer to join our team. As a Vertica developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our Vertica database. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and implement solutions, optimizing performance and ensuring data integrity. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the growth of our organization and make a significant impact in the field of data management and analytics.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and optimize Vertica database schemas, tables, and indexes.

- Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into Vertica.

- Collaborate with data architects and software engineers to ensure Vertica database integration with existing systems.

- Develop and maintain SQL scripts and procedures to support business reporting and analytics needs.

- Monitor and optimize Vertica query performance, making recommendations for performance tuning and optimization.

- Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and cleansing processes.

- Collaborate with the data engineering team to identify and resolve data quality Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Vertica developer.

- Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming.

- Experience in Vertica database administration and performance tuning.

- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.

- Experience with ETL tools and processes.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
