What you will be doing here :

  • Be hands-on in development
  • Lead the software design, architecture, development, debugging, documentation, testing, deployment, maintenance and improvement
  • efforts for one of our core modules.
  • Be a mentor for other junior engineers
  • Perform design and code reviews for the team
  • Collaborate with teams and share knowledge via tech talks and promote tech and engineering best practices within the team.
Technical Skills Required :
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience in Python and Django
  • Prior experience with ElasticSearch is required.
  • Sound understanding of Algorithms and Data structures
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering reliable, scalable, performant, and secure Web-based systems and services in production.
  • Working understanding of RESTFUL Services
  • Experience in Microservices and Serverless Architecture is preferred.
  • Working understanding of DevOps, Application Security, and Test automation is preferred.
  • Working understanding of Cloud-based applications and SaaS products is preferred.
  • Exposure to data engineering - Data warehouse, ETL, SQL, and NoSQL databases
  • Strong relational database experience (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
  • Ability to write well-crafted, readable, testable, maintainable and modular code.
Soft Skills Required :
  • A hard-working, humble disposition.
  • Capacity to communicate well with stakeholders as well as team members and be an effective interface between the Engineering and
  • Product/Business team.
  • A quick thinker who can adapt to a fast-paced startup environment and work with minimum supervision.
