Job code: Design Engineer-Electrical & Electronics

Ducom Instruments now has an opening for the position of Design Engineer-Electrical & Electronics. Looking for dynamic and hands-on experience in Design to set out to improve the overall functioning of the client’s Electrical and Electronics design. Design Draughtsman-Electrical & Electronics To create a detailed electrical schematic, and channel list for the electrical control systems used in our high-precision scientific instruments.

Job Description

1. Design and develop control panels & and electrical schematics as per the requirements.

2. Ability to create reports from the electrical schematics.

3. Prepare and update the BOM as per design specifications.

4. Cost estimation of electrical and electronics items and executing projects within the budget.

5. Working closely with the assembly team to ensure that customer requirements are met and all requirements are implemented.

6. Communicate with suppliers to confirm information on products necessary to complete electrical schematics and layouts.

7. Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the management from me to me.

Preferred Qualifications

● Diploma in Electronics or Mechatronics

● Min1 year of experience in product design and development of special purpose machines (SPM) industry or machine tool industry is an added advantage.

● Proficient in Autocad/KiCAD

● Ability to thrive in cross-functional and cross-cultural work environments ● Good written and verbal communication skills

● Ability to travel, occasional travel may be required.
