Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of DBAs to provide Database related support with guidance for BAU & Production
support
- To set KRAs for the team and conduct the Performance Appraisal for them
- To be responsible for day-to-day Task Allocation, Throughput, Tracking, Conflict Management,
handle attrition etc in the team
- To identify initiatives to upgrade the efficiency of support & on the environment.
- Coordinate with internal Project teams to address their Database support requirements
- Coordinate/Participate in calls with Banks/Customers/Auditors to represent & clarify/provide solutions for their Database related queries/needs.
- Ability to understand the Business domain requirements and provide tailor made solutions from
the Database end.
- To comply with internal process and Data Security related mandates.
Requirements
1. Hands-on knowledge on DB installation from 19c onwards.
2. Worked in BFSI
3. Experience in Application Tuning, Data Model & Oracle architecture
4. Experience in stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
5. Experience in handling Production Support Team & issues.
6. Process Orientation, Change log maintenance & planning of DB activities
7. Ability in reading/interpreting AWR, ADDM and SAR report
8. Experience in DB Metrics collection & MIS Reporting
9. Exposure on Domain knowledge from end-to-end perspective.
10. Experience in preparing Support Roasters, planning for major activities like
upgrades/EOY etc
11. Ability to identify Service level improvements & self driven initiatives
12. Experience in handling Resource Management, Tasks Assignments,
Conflict Management & conducting Performance Management.
13. Ability to plan for technical impact analysis, dependencies, backout plan etc
14. Experience in handling DR Drills in a Production environment
15. Experience in all Oracle tools/features like sqlplus, SQL Developer,
SQL*Loader, Materialized View, Explain Plan, SQLRT, SPM, PL/SQL etc
16. Ability in handling Database recovery, control file corruption etc
17. Familiar on Data Security controls such as TDE, Redaction, PII Masking etc
18. Experience in handling RAC, Stand-alone DBs, Primary Vs Physical Vs
Logical Standby databases
19. Techniques for Data space optimization
20. Oracle Certifications
