Electrical design engineer

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer with strongexpertise in designing electrical systems for manufacturing machines. The ideal candidateshould be proficient in Auto CAD Electrical (E_CAD 2024) and EPLAN, possess strongknowledge of electrical components, servo motors, drives, PLC I/O modules, sensors,motion devices, and be capable of producing complete and accurate Bill of Materials(BOMs), Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), and other essential electrical design documentation.Experience: 8 - 15 YearsKey Responsibilities:Design and develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts usingAuto CAD Electrical (E_CAD 2024) and EPLAN.Prepare detailed Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), control wiring diagrams, and cableschedules.Select appropriate electrical components such as circuit breakers, relays, sensors,actuators, servo motors, drives, and motion control devices based on applicationrequirements.Design and document PLC I/O modules wiring for machine controls.Generate complete and detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) for procurement andmanufacturing.Ensure all designs comply with applicable standards (IEC, NEC, UL, CE) andmachine safety regulations.Collaborate closely with mechanical designers, controls engineers, and manufacturingteams for integrated design and execution.Support prototype assembly and troubleshoot electrical systems during build andcommissioning phases.Continuously review and optimize electrical designs for performance improvementand cost efficiency.Maintain thorough electrical documentation, design revisions, and implement changemanagement processes.Participate actively in design reviews and contribute to project planning and executionwith technical insights.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.4–8 years of hands-on experience in electrical design for manufacturing equipment,Special Purpose Machine (SPM) or industrial machinery.Proficiency in Auto CAD Electrical (Preferably E_CAD 2024) and EPLAN forelectrical schematic design.Strong knowledge in selection and application of electrical components (e.g.,contactors, relays, sensors, drives, servo motors).Sound understanding of sensors (proximity, photoelectric, vision sensors) and motioncontrol devices (servo motors, Drives).Experience in creating BOMs, SLDs, control panel layouts, machine cabling, wireduct design, and detailed wiring schematics.Familiarity with industry standards and practices such as IEC, NEC, UL, and safetyregulations.Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a structured, methodicalapproach to design work.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary teamenvironment.Preferred Skills:Experience in PLC/Automation system integration including basic knowledge ofPLC wiring, I/O module configuration, and troubleshooting.Knowledge of designing machine safety systems (Emergency Stops, Safety Relays,Light Curtains, etc.).Exposure to 3 D electrical design tools such as Solid Works Electrical is anadvantage.Exposure or understanding of Mechanical Design and Drawings.Basic understanding of project management principles and working withinInterested Candidates may share their updated resume through:or Whats App:
