About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced QA Lead / QA Consultant to drive quality assurance across web and mobile projects. This role combines deep testing expertise with strong leadershipmanaging QA teams, defining test strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers (manual and automation).
  • Assign tasks, review test plans, and monitor team progress and productivity.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, team standups, and performance evaluations.

Test Strategy & Execution:

  • Define and drive QA strategy for manual & automation testing.
  • Review requirements to ensure coverage and mitigate quality risks.
  • Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts.

Consultative & Cross-Functional Work:

  • Work with dev, product, and PM teams to ensure quality from the start.
  • Share QA insights in client discussions and project planning.
  • Represent QA in reviews, release planning, and retrospectives.

Automation & Tools:

  • Oversee test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Appium, etc.).
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Guide tool selection for test management & reporting (TestRail, Zephyr, JIRA).Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in QA with leadership experience.
  • Strong in SDLC, Agile/Scrum, manual & automation testing (web, mobile, API).
  • Knowledge of performance/security testing & QA tools.
  • Excellent communication and ability to manage multiple projects.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in consulting/client-facing QA roles.
