The company's flagship product is a unique and delicious Himachali pickle called Dates Pickle or khajoor ka achaar. They recently launched another innovative product, Dates Barfi, which is a no-added-sugar dessert. Since its establishment in February 2021, Aweri's products have garnered the love of over 50,000 Indians and have received over 800 five-star reviews across various platforms.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist located in Delhi, India. The Senior Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day quality control, quality assurance, quality management, and quality auditing tasks at Aweri Foods. They will ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Ensure testing of finished goods as per standard sampling & test method with correct documentation. Participate in product quality exercise regularly.- Periodic verification of process records, incoming quality check records, ingredient shelf-life records, in-process quality check records- Regular verification of correct functioning of critical process equipment like weighing balances etc.,- Ensure basic hygiene, food safety & GMP requirements are complied with in manufacturing.- Ensure critical to food safety processes are being complied with at any point in time during manufacturing. This would include , pest control, conveyor- Conduct training sessions for workers to create awareness on quality standards, GMP, food safety & hygiene- Regular audit of systems, processes & lab to verify compliance to quality & food safety standards- Immediate & suitable action against issues related to process/system/norm non-adherence, equipment malfunctioning, quality monitoring, food safety & hygiene to prevent the outcome affecting consumers & brand value.

Qualifications

- Experience in quality control, quality assurance, quality management, and quality auditing- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills- Excellent communication and documentation skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Ability to lead a team- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities- Experience in the food industry or with packaged foods is a must- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field
