The Senior Project Planner person role will be required to plan, manage and monitor works using a project management tools, including the use of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project etc. The Senior Project Planner will be required to lead on project planning/ controlling assignments with 7+ years of Experience, check the work completed by project planners for quality delivery of project scheduling works within the given time and cost. Experience of project scheduling for UK projects will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
Responsible for all aspects of the planning, scheduling, and programming of the work.
Lead functional input to projects, including where relevant leading the input of other planners, to ensure delivery is consistent and effective, meeting scope, time, cost and quality requirements.
Address the contractor notifications and specific details by using programming data, robust building techniques, and contractual provisions in a logical and analytical approach.
Contribute to the planning, scheduling, and controlling strategy for assigned projects, so that the approach taken in each case is effective and appropriate to the project needs and client requirements including setting standards and procedures, monitors and reports at project/portfolio level, prepare relevant project control dashboards for internal and external stakeholder communication.
Set up the baseline schedule and control procedures for assigned projects and monitor progress against the plan, so that any problems are recognised promptly.
Report on progress and earned value, to support financial forecasting and any necessary corrective action.
Monitor project risks, issues, resources and CPM and assist in provide solutions to Project Controls Manager, complying with WSP and the Client’s standards and codes.
Comprehensive assessment of claims like Extension of Time and Disruption using modern delay analysis methods such as time impact analysis and window analysis, effectively demonstrating the contractor's contemporaneous delay.
Assist PM/PCM for project planning, scheduling, and controlling input to estimating and tendering activity on assigned projects, so that all relevant issues, actions and risks are understood and taken into account.
Lead a performance culture, incorporating the WSP values, which develops individuals’ capability through an active performance management process, so that not only delivery for the company is enhanced but also the skills, capability and personal satisfaction of an individual is maximised.
Any other iCRC PMCM related assignment as entrusted by Line Manager/HOD.
