The Opportunity:

ECI has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead Quality Assurance Engineer - To be successful as a Lead QA Engineer, you should have experience in Web Application testing API testing and mobile application testing. Brief understanding of testing approaches. Good communication skills and must be a team player.

This is an Onsite role with rotating shifts.

What you will do:

Provide functional workflows, test data, and support Manual / Automation / Performance testing. Effectively collaborate and communicate and build rapport with team members, project stakeholders, business partners and vendors. Promoting QA standards and best practices across Agile teams. Possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment that supports production and maintenance level changes. Familiarity with systems scope and project objectives, the role and function of the various members of the team. Creating, and reviewing STP, ITP, UAT test plan and test cases. Should be able to manage and coach juniors.

Who you are:

+ years of working experience in Manual Testing. Must have good experience in Web Application testing, API testing and mobile application (iOS & Android) testing. Exposure in working in Agile Projects. Working experience in Jira, Postman, Swagger etc. Well versed with API Testing and holds familiarity with JSON and XML. Ability to analyze requirements, develop a test plan, create, and execute test cases, track defects, and report results. Designing & Implementing Test Strategy. Creating Test Plan and getting approvals. Organizing and monitoring defect management process. Handling changes and conducting Regression Testing. Good to have Desktop Application testing. Good to have knowledge of Database testing. Good to have knowledge of Automation testing and exposure to Tools like Selenium, JMeter etc. Good to have TDD/BDD, Cinnamon/Cucumber frameworks. Good to have knowledge of object-oriented programming languages: Java.

Working Conditions:

Ability to work in an independent environment with moderate supervision. Ability to work at a moderate noise level ( working on an open floor with printers, telephones, and computers). Ability to be flexible and successfully respond to multiple work pressures. Sitting for extended periods of time.
