About the Unacademy Language Learning App
Unacademy has launched a new App to tap into the Language Learning market. This app helps users learn their choice of language and speak it confidently and fluently. Our content is meticulously crafted through engaging and immersive lessons that utilize a mix of text, audio, and visuals to enhance the Learner’s understanding. We currently have Spanish on the platform and are planning to launch multiple other languages.

Job Summary:
As the Associate Manager, you will be crucial in leading our content creation process, driving the development and delivery of lessons for the App. This role is pivotal in enhancing user language learning by working with language experts and generating high quality and engaging content. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of building systems and processes while maintaining high quality and must have prior team managing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end process of content generation from curriculum design to integration within the app, ensuring a high quality content delivery within ambitious timelines.
- Maintain the highest quality standards across all processes, ensuring content is error-free and pedagogically effective in retaining and engaging end users.
- Discuss regularly with internal educators and design team to ensure daily lesson creation.
- Perform thorough quality checks for content accuracy, engagement and sanity.
- Track the daily metrics required to ensure optimal team performance, and delivery of quality content with timelines.
- Work closely with the tech team to enhance internal content delivery tools, drive efficiency in the content team’s outputs and reduce manual errors.
Key Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in driving operational excellence in a tech first company or extensive experience in program management, management consulting.
- Self-directed, resourceful, and comfortable with operating in ambiguity. The ability to summarize and present complex topics effectively to a wide audience.
- Experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented startup environment is preferred.
- Experience in content strategy and management, preferably within the education technology or language learning industry is preferred.
- Zeal to learn new languages or linguistics or fluency in additional languages is preferred.
