Experience: 7+ years

Job Location: Chennai, Madurai (WFO Required)

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Analyze software and quality requirements and document test plans

- Ability to create from scratch, develop, review, and implement the integration, system, acceptance, and end-to-end test

- UI tests with Javascript&Typescript and Cypress

- API testing with BDD java

- E2E testing for an application using tech such as: Kafka, Open search, React

- Update and maintain the existing integration & regression test suite and create new automation tests for newly developed features.

- Ensure the quality of testing deliverables

- Work closely with the Product manager and developers to deliver the tasks on time and with the expected quality

- Be proactive and an active member of the team

Must have tech skills:

- +5 years of experience in writing automated tests and doing manual testing for web-based software

- Working experience with Cypress and good JavaScript/TypeScript/Node.js knowledge

- Working experience in testing REST API within BDD(Cucumber) using Java

- Strong experience with the concept of CI/CD

- Experience with AWS cloud

- Be familiar with Agile frameworks and be able to integrate in a cross functional Agile team.

Must have soft skills:

- Good English communication skills (written and spoken)

- Ability to effectively communicate with product stakeholders on automation strategy, coverage and results

- Effective verbal and written communication skills; effective customer service skills.

- Self-motivation and ability to work independently in an agile environment
