We have recently established a Direct English franchise in the enchanting Kullu Valley, (H.P.) in April 2024. Aligned with the global Direct English network, our institute aims to deliver exceptional English language education to high school and college students, especially those from marginalised backgrounds. The institute also plans to extend its services to educational and vocational institutions and the hospitality & tourism sector. Being a social entrepreneurship project, we are committed to empowering individuals, especially those from marginalised communities, by equipping them with language and soft skills for academic & professional success.
Job Summary
As the Centre Head of our Direct English Franchise in Kullu, you will be instrumental in leading and managing the institute's operations. We are seeking an individual with integrity, passion, commitment and hunger for doing impactful work. You will play a key role in implementing the franchise's programs, fostering an equitable and inclusive learning environment, and building strong bonds with the local community.
Your responsibilities will include
· Overseeing day-to-day operations of the institute.· Implementing/monitoring Direct English Core Programs and Soft Skills Training.· Ensuring effective delivery of CEFR Aligned Training to every student.· Active participation in tutoring sessions.· Monitor student progress and implement tailored strategies for improvement· Providing career counselling to students· Developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy for the institute· Establishing and nurturing partnerships with external stakeholders.· Actively engaging in community events and forging meaningful connections that align with the institute's social entrepreneurship goals.
Qualifications & Key Competencies
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Business degree or a related field.· Good understanding of pedagogy of English language and its curriculum.· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English essential. IELTS trainers preferred.· Experience 2-10 years, preferably in the education sector or related field.· Teach for India (TFI) / social sector experience will be an added advantage.
Renumeration- Upto 4.20 lacs p.a.
