Job Overview:The Senior Software Engineer designs, develops, troubleshoots, debugs, and sets the direction for the design and implementation of software features/functionality/enhancements, correction of defects, and/or the creation of new products. Develops software tools including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools. Determines software’s compatibility with hardware and/or influences software's design in relation to hardware.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

:Mastery of software systemsProficient at complex programming exercising independence and discretion while working independently or as part of a team.May lead a team on short or long-term projects as needed.Act as the technical subject matter expert for a product domain and may act as the technical leader within a team.Works independently to create new products, new features, implement software enhancements, correct defects.Set the direction for design and implementation of software features/functionality, correction of defects and/or creation of new products.​Technical Skills required.Primary skills:Typically requires a minimum of 9+ years of related experienceCore Java, Spring boot, Microservices, GWT, knowledge of communication protocol (like AS2, etc.), Junit, MockitoExpertise in Cloud technologiesDatabases: Oracle, Postgres, MSSQL, DB2IDE: EclipseOS: Windows Server, Linux/Unix, & Windows & Linux/Unix commandsGood to have:Apache Kafka, antSecurity (secure coding)EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) domain knowledge

Education:Bachelors/master's degree in computer science or equivalent
