Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Consultant with a strong background in ECC (Enterprise Central Component) to join our team. The role involves collaborating with cross functional teams to design, develop, test, and implement SAP solutions that meet business Development and Maintenance: Create and maintain ABAP programs, interfaces, reports, enhancements, and forms in alignment with functional specifications, ensuring robustness and scalability.

- Collaboration: Engage closely with functional consultants to grasp business requirements comprehensively and translate them into detailed technical specifications, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions.

- Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough unit testing, integration testing, and actively participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) phases to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of developed solutions.

- Troubleshooting and Optimization: Identify and resolve technical issues related to ABAP development, including performance tuning and debugging, ensuring smooth functionality and optimal performance of SAP systems.

- Mentorship and Support: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior ABAP developers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring adherence to best practices and standards within the team.

- Continuous Learning and Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest SAP technologies, tools, and industry best practices, actively seeking opportunities to enhance development processes and solutions for greater efficiency and effectiveness.

- System Enhancement and Migration: Collaborate in system upgrades, enhancements, and migrations, contributing technical expertise to ensure seamless transitions and improvements in SAP environments.

- Project Involvement: Participate actively in project planning, estimation, and documentation activities, contributing insights and technical expertise to ensure successful project outcomes.

- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and clear documentation for developed objects and processes, facilitating knowledge transfer and ensuring continuity in operations and maintenance.

- Adherence to Standards: Adhere strictly to coding standards, guidelines, and best practices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures to uphold the integrity and security of SAP Education and Experience: Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, demonstrating a solid foundation in both theoretical knowledge and practical application.

- Technical Proficiency: Exhibit proficiency in the ABAP programming language and associated development tools, coupled with a strong understanding of SAP ECC modules and functionalities, enabling the creation of robust and efficient solutions.

- SAP Development Technologies: Have experience with various SAP development technologies, including but not limited to BAPIs, RFCs, IDOCs, ALV reports, and Smart Forms, leveraging them effectively to address diverse business requirements.

- Methodologies and Best Practices: Possess knowledge of SAP development methodologies and best practices, applying them judiciously to analyze complex business processes and design tailored technical solutions that meet specific business needs effectively.

- Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a proven ability to dissect complex issues, identify root causes, and develop innovative solutions to overcome technical challenges.

- Communication and Collaboration: Exhibit strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, fostering synergy and driving collective success through clear and concise communication of ideas and requirements.

- Self-Motivation and Teamwork: Display self-motivation and initiative, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment, contributing positively to team dynamics and achieving shared goals.

- Certification: Possession of SAP certification in ABAP development is considered a plus, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the SAP ecosystem.
