Job Title: CNC Operator

Department: Production / Machine Shop
Reporting To: Production Supervisor / Machine Shop Head

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled CNC Operator to set up and operate CNC machines (VMC, HMC, VTL, Turning Centers, etc.) to produce precision components as per engineering drawings and quality standards. The role requires knowledge of machine operations, tooling, measurement instruments, and adherence to safety and quality procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC machines (Turning / Milling / VMC / VTL as applicable) as per job requirements.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, work orders, and process sheets.
  • Perform machine setup, tool changes, offsets, and adjustments when required.
  • Monitor machining operations and make necessary corrections to ensure dimensional accuracy.
  • Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, etc.).
  • Maintain records of production, quality checks, and machine log sheets.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness of machines and work area.
  • Coordinate with quality and production teams to resolve machining issues.
  • Basic preventive maintenance of CNC machines.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Production or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in CNC machine operation (Fresher with strong technical knowledge may also be considered).
  • Good knowledge of CNC machine functions, tooling, and cutting parameters.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments.
  • Understanding of CNC programming (basic knowledge preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Willingness to work in shifts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹14, ₹18,000.00 per month
