We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role  Manager – Finance Operations

Principal Responsibilities

Preparation/Review of monthly, quarterly and annual B/S, P/L Schedules and consolidated final accounts as per IFRS Analytical skills to perform variance analysis and other investigation Produce and analyze ad hoc management information requests Preparation and review of various pre and post close journals Strong technical knowledge of Accounting and reporting principles. Functional experience in accounting for all balance sheet / income statement heads Collaborate extensively with the external auditors during preliminary and yearend audit processes Ability to meet KPI timelines including under stringent time lines and high pressure situations, at the same time maintaining a high degree of accuracy Good communication skills to be able to manage the In-country team on a daily basis. Identify opportunities for process re-engineering / improvement and participate in change initiatives Requirements

Qualifications - External

Candidate should be a Chartered Accountant/Post graduate or MBA with post qualification experience of 5+ years in Finance and Accounting, or B. Com /M Com/CA(inter)/CWA(inter): 8+ years of work experience Prior experience in Financial Reporting and strong knowledge IFRS Good working knowledge of month end closure preferably in the Banking Sector Good communication skills for ensuring smooth day to day interaction with In-Country teams Very strong Excel skills to interpret high data volume and facilitate automation Good knowledge of HUB/REMIND/COGNOS/TREATS and other HSBC systems Hands on experience with HUB, REMIND/COGNOS and other HSBC tools Familiarity and experience with automation tools like Xceptor, Python, Qlikview etc
