We are seeking a highly skilled Senior C Network Protocol Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance network protocol implementations written in C.

Network Programmer

Experience : 2 Years to 5 Years

Notice Period : Immediate Only

Work Location: Bangalore

Work Nature: Hybrid Mode

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-performance network applications using C programming language.
  • Possess a strong understanding of data structures and their efficient implementation.
  • Write code that interacts seamlessly with the Linux operating system, including kernel internals, threads, and inter-process communication (IPCs).
  • Configure and troubleshoot network routing protocols including RIP, OSPF, BGP, VxLAN, BGP EVPN, and GRE tunneling.
  • Design and implement network automation scripts to streamline network management tasks.
  • Collaborate with network engineers and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in network programming and operating systems.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in network programming using C.
  • In-depth knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
  • Proven experience working with the Linux operating system, including kernel internals, threads, and IPCs.
  • Strong understanding of L3 routing protocols (RIP, OSPF, BGP) and overlay technologies (VxLAN, BGP EVPN).
  • Experience with GRE tunneling protocols a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
