Pratt & Whitney, an RTX Company, is looking for a .NET and Angular based application tester to join our Digital Technology (DT) Digital Aftermarket Services team. This individual will be involved in the delivery of testing, enhancing, and implementing software solutions within Pratt & Whitney’s DW2W2C Portfolio, as well as integrations with other enterprise products.

The Digital Aftermarket Services team at Pratt and Whitney is looking for a highly motivated, self-starter who will be excited in delivering digital solutions within our DW2W2C Portfolio as it relates to supporting our aftermarket operations worldwide. Specific focus includes the development of enhancements to our systems and troubleshooting production and preproduction system changes. 

Education / Certifications:

·BS degree and 3 to 6 years' experience required; or Advanced degree and 2 years of experience required.Preferred fields of study include Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related.

Responsibilities:

·Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for .NET, Angular, and SQL-based applications.

·Execute manual and automated tests to identify software defects and ensure product quality.

·Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand the requirements and acceptance criteria.

·Perform regression testing, integration testing, and performance testing as needed.

·Analyze test results and provide feedback to the development team for continuous improvement.

·Document defects and track issues to resolution using bug tracking tools.

·Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

·Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in software testing.

Qualifications:

·Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

·3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in software testing with a focus on .NET, Angular, and SQL-based applications.

·Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, including manual and automated testing techniques.

·Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation and verification.

·Experience with testing frameworks such as NUnit, MSTest, Jasmine, or Protractor.

·Familiarity with version control systems such as Git for code management.

·Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, preferably with tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.

·Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to aid in frontend testing.

·Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.

·Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

·Understanding of security testing principles and experience with security testing tools.

·Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

·Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

·Proven ability to work in an agile environment and adapt to changing priorities.
