We are seeking a skilled
Network Administrator
for Mayo College Girls' School to manage and support our IT infrastructure. This role is critical to maintaining seamless network operations, ensuring security, and providing robust technical support for our academic and administrative departments.
Key Responsibilities:Network Management:
Oversee the setup, configuration, and maintenance of our school’s local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Wi-Fi systems.System Security:
Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect data integrity and prevent unauthorized access.Technical Support:
Provide technical support to staff, faculty, and students, assisting with connectivity issues, software updates, and troubleshooting.Network Optimization:
Regularly evaluate and upgrade network hardware and software to optimize system performance.Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain network documentation and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
Qualifications & Experience Required:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Proven experience in network administration, preferably within an educational institution.Strong understanding of network infrastructure and security best practices.Proficiency in managing firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless networks.Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
