KeyResponsibilities:
a. StrategicAdvisory: Provide expert advice to Secretary of the Ministry ondigital transformation assisting in the development and executionof strategies related to data and technology. Aid in prioritizingtechnology programs and government spend to chart a clear directionfor digital transformation.
b.Leadership and Coordination: Offer professional leadership andsupport to the Ministry and its departments to present anintegrated view of citizen service delivery. Drive intra andinterministerial coordination and synergy concerning technologymatters.
c. Technology Frameworkand Standards: Develop a common framework standards data model andoverarching technology and enterprise architecture for theMinistry. Support the development and enforcement of technicalstandards to ensure efficient service delivery.
d. AI Implementation Support:Provide guidance to teams responsible for implementing technologyprojects with AI components. Foster the use of AI and emergingtechnologies to deliver commitments in coordination with relevantstakeholders.
e. GovernmentCollaboration: Facilitate CAIDO in AI and technology matters andassist the Ministry in meetings and collaborations with othergovernment entities industry partners and stakeholders.
f. Shared Digital Services:Collaborate with other departments and agencies to identifyopportunities for shared digital services ensuring interoperabilityand compatibility of digitalsystems.
DesiredSkills/ Competencies
i.Educational Background: Bachelors or Masters degree in computerscience information systems or a related field. ii. Experience:Minimum of 15 years of overall experience with at least 10 years inleading digital transformation and/or AI initiatives deliveringcomplex projects within timelines and budget.
iii. Digital TransformationExperience: Proven experience in ideating developing andimplementing major digital transformation projects for industryand/or government.
iv. AIKnowledge: Indepth knowledge of stateoftheart AI technologies andapplications.
v. Data Securityand Compliance: Strong understanding of security protocols fordigital and AI systems to ensure data privacy and integrityachieving 100% compliance with industry best practices andstandards.
vi. Consulting and SIExperience: Experience working for consulting and systemintegration companies providing project management and digitaltransformation services for Government of India and StateGovernments.
vii. Passion forAIPowered Transformation: Enthusiasm for driving change inGovernment through AIpowered digital transformation platforms andprograms on a national scale.
viii. Leadership and Energy: Highenergy and a strong sense of urgency to drive transformativeinitiatives.
ix. Communicationand Collaboration: Excellent leadership communication andcollaboration skills with the ability to work effectively withdiversestakeholders.
KPIs:1. Digital Transformation Progress: Measure the progress of digitaltransformation initiatives within the Ministry assessing the numberof projects completed their impact and the overall advancementtoward digitalization goals.
2.AI Adoption Rate: Track the adoption rate of AI technologies andsolutions within the Ministry evaluating the extent to which AI isintegrated into various processes and services.
3. AI Project Success Rate: Trackthe success rate of AI projects including successful implementationmeeting objectives and delivering business value.
4. Stakeholder Feedback: Gatherfeedback from stakeholders including Minister Secretary and otherrelevant personnel on the effectiveness and impact of digitaltransformation initiatives.
5.Project Timelines: Measure the timely completion of digitaltransformation projects and AI initiatives comparing actualtimelines with plannedschedules.
