Overview: The SoftwareAutomation Test Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring thequality and reliability of our software products through the designand execution of automated test suites. They collaborate closelywith the development and quality assurance teams to identify andresolve issues develop test strategies and automate testcases.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Experience in C#automation Visual Studio Selenium
  • Frameworkdevelopment experience
  • Experience with Agiletesting methodologies.
  • Experience inJenkins
  • Sound knowledge about manualtesting.
  • Write and execute automated testscripts to verify acceptancecriteria
  • Experience with software developmenttools such as requirement tracking (Jira Rally) defect tracking(Jira) source control (GitHub) and automation(Jenkins)
  • Experience and knowledge of thedifferent types of software testing (Unit Smoke RegressionAcceptance etc.)
  • Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams to gather test requirements and designautomated test strategies.
  • Develop and maintainautomated test scripts to validate software functionality andperformance.
  • Execute and analyze automated testresults identify and report softwaredefects.
  • Participate in test planningestimation and risk assessmentactivities.
  • Provide input to improve softwaredesign based on testability andmaintainability.
  • Contribute to the continuousimprovement of the test automation framework andprocesses.
  • Collaborate with developers toresolve technical issues and perform root causeanalysis.
  • Stay updated with industry bestpractices and technologies in testautomation.
  • Participate in code reviews andprovide feedback on testability and qualityaspects.
  • Participate in the release process andsupport productiondeployments.
RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelors degree inComputer Science Engineering or a relatedfield.
  • Proven experience in software testautomation and scripting using tools such as Selenium Appium orsimilar.
  • Strong knowledge of software testingmethodologies tools and processes.
  • Ability toanalyze and interpret complex software requirements and designdocuments.
  • Experience in test planning testcase design and test execution.
  • Strongproblemsolving skills and attention todetail.
  • Understanding of continuous integrationand continuous deployment (CI/CD)principles.
  • Excellent communication andcollaboration skills in a crossfunctional teamenvironment.
  • Ability to work effectively in anagile development environment.
  • Experience withversion control systems such as Git orSVN.
  • Knowledge of software quality assurancebest practices and techniques.
  • Familiarity withperformance and security testing concepts is aplus.
  • Certifications in software testing orautomation is a plus.
  • Experience with softwaredevelopment in languages like Java Python or C# is aplus.
  • Experience with mobile applicationtesting is a plus.
