JOB DESCRIPTION: QA Engineer

Location: Ahmedabad
Experience Required: 2 to 4 Years
Job Type: Full-time
Department: Quality Assurance / Software Testing
Reports To: QA Lead / Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and technical specifications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing.
• Design and implement frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
• Identify, log, and track defects using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other team members to understand system requirements and provide QA input.
• Conduct code reviews of test scripts and mentor junior QA engineers.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Prepare and maintain QA documentation, including test reports, QA dashboards, and quality metrics.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for testing and quality control.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries to validate data and back-end testing.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in performance testing using tools like Jmeter.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Internship

Pay: ₹40, ₹50,000.00 per month
