We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant to join our team at the-principal-tag.

About the Role

This is a long-term remote work opportunity for an experienced SAP TM consultant. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Freight Management, Order Management, Transportation Planning and Execution, as well as Freight Settlement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and configure SAP TM-SCM 9.0 or higher and S/4 HANA 1809 or higher
  • Develop and maintain integration between TM and EWM
  • Configure Freight Unit building/Dynamic Freight Unit building, Package building, Carrier Schedule based Optimizer Planning, Load Planning, Transportation and Warehouse Execution, GIS, Subcontracting, Vendor Agreements and Inter/Intra Company Settlements
  • Set up and manage EDI communication between SAP TM and B2B Carrier
Required Skills
  • At least 8 years of experience in SAP Transportation Management Techno-functional resources
  • Strong technical knowledge of Business Object Processing Framework (BOPF), Output Management and Post-Processing Framework (PPF), BRF+ Conditions, Floor Plan Manager (FPM), and POWL
  • Familiarity with enhancements around FU's, FO's, POWL's, VSR optimizer, Transportation cockpit, Fiori Apps, CDS Views, API's, and BADIs and Enhancements
  • Experience with standard/custom interfaces to connect ERP to TM and TM to EWM
Preferred Qualifications
  • SAP TMS/4 HANA experience on technical aspects
  • Knowledge of transportation management processes and freight settlement procedures
