What you’ll be doing
• Applies specialist technical expertise to develop and advise approach on a range of complex, high impact and high risk customer solutions and define the architectural strategy for the Service domain
• Accountable for defining and maintaining the architectural roadmap for the respective domain
• Creates, owns and implements the technical solutions and inputs into the roadmaps for the respective domain
• Liaises with CFU and customer stakeholders, ensuring business needs are met through assurance of the design
• To work with programme managers and colleagues across BT to ensure programmes /projects are successful
• Supports the development of deep technical and repeatable solutions that achieve customer requirements driving positive outcomes.
• Supports the development of innovative and repeatable solution architectures and use cases to meet agreed requirements and business objectives.
• Supports business stakeholders' understanding of capabilities and the transformative power of group products, services and technology.
• Supports with the translation of requirements into product configuration and implementation standards.
• Executes work in delivering initiatives that are a part of the company's overall commercial strategy.
• Executes and delivers work using solution patterns and solution architecture best practices within procedures to deliver the strategy and vision of the solution architecture specialism .
• Supports in the implementation of ways to improve working processes within the area of solution architecture
Experience required
overall 3+yrs experience
• Should have deep knowledge of at least one telecommunications related technology covering either of the following areas: WAN/SDWAN/LAN/Voice/Compute
• Should have prior hands-on experience on designing end-to-end solutions in the Telecommunications service domain
• Should have good knowledge of eTOM or ITIL or similar standards in the telecoms space
• Showcased expertise on a project or a specific piece of work or led a project outside of the core areas of your expertise
