We are building a SaaS-enabled global content ecosystem to help marketing teams manage everything from content creation and workflow to distribution all in one place. As we scale, we are expanding our legal function to support this rapid growth. We’re looking for a Junior Legal Associate to join us on this journey.❖ About the RoleAs a Junior Legal Associate, you will play a key role in supporting Pepper’s legal and complianceoperations. This role is ideal for someone starting their legal career who’s excited to work in afast-paced, high-growth environment and wants exposure to a wide range of legal functions. You'llwork closely with our Legal Associate and Senior Legal Manager and collaborate withcross-functional teams to deliver high-quality legal support across the organization.❖ Key Responsibilities➢ Contract SupportAssist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining standard commercial contracts such as NDAs,vendor agreements, and partnership contracts.➢ Legal Documentation & Workflow ManagementManage and organize legal documents, maintain contract trackers, and support routine legalprocesses.➢ Internal CollaborationLiaise with internal teams (Sales, Finance, HR, Operations) to assist with legal inputs andcoordinate on contract execution.➢ Due Diligence & ComplianceSupport legal due diligence activities, help maintain corporate records, and assist with regulatoryand compliance tasks.➢ Legal Research & AnalysisConduct research on applicable laws and regulations and summarize findings for internal use.➢ Template ManagementHelp develop, maintain, and update internal legal templates and checklists.➢ Special ProjectsContribute to ad-hoc legal initiatives such as data privacy, employment law, intellectual property,or contract lifecycle projects.❖ Requirements➢ LL.B. degree from a recognized university➢ 1–3 years of legal experience (internships, in-house, or law firm experience accepted).➢ Strong written and verbal communication skills➢ Excellent Microsoft Excel Knowledge➢ Proactive, eager to learn, and capable of handling multiple priorities➢ Mumbai based candidates will be preferred❖ What You'll Gain➢ Exposure to real-time business challenges and legal strategy➢ Opportunities to work directly with leadership and cross-functional teams➢ A chance to be part of a fast-growing startup shaping the future of content➢ Mentorship and hands-on learning in a supportive, dynamic environment
