Role Description
We are looking for I/O or Cognitive Psychologists for the role of People Science Associate to work with the team of Tech-ninjas. People Science Associate is a cross-functional role, carrying out extensive research and steering product development.
Responsibilities
- Will be required to work on the development, validation, implementation, and maintenance of competency models.- Design and develop newer frameworks of assessment, with different modes of test administration.- Coordinate with partnering organizations to conduct relevant research studies, and data analysis, create reports and interpret the same.- Coordinate with the technical and design team to implement new game modules, and modify existing modules.- Write content for industry reports, blogs, whitepapers, and websites.- Comfort with both technical and general writing is preferred.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree/ Ph.D. in I/O Psychology or Applied Psychology (Specialization in Cognitive Psychology would be advantageous).- 2-4 years of relevant experience in an industry or consulting team-oriented environment in corporate operations, management, and/or human resources-related fields.- Strong background in research methodology.- Experience in creating and validating psychometric tests.- Ability to apply psychometric principles, both classical test theory and item response theory, in developing, validating, and maintaining competency models.- Must be comfortable working with numbers and hard-core statistics. Ability to perform and apply complex data analyses (e.g., Factorial Analysis, Cluster Analysis, Exploratory and Confirmatory, Structural Equation Modeling, IRT) using standard social science statistical analysis packages (e.g., SPSS/R) sufficient to develop, validate, and evaluate competency models.- Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives.
